Setup

Getting Started

Up and running in 3 simple steps.

Download & Install

macOS: Open the .dmg and drag StudyBuddy to Applications.
Windows: Unzip the folder and run StudyBuddy.exe.

Add Your API Key

Go to the Settings tab and paste your OpenAI API key. You can get one from platform.openai.com. This powers the AI quiz generation.

Upload Notes & Quiz

Upload your study notes (TXT, MD, or PDF), pick a topic, and click Start Quiz. StudyBuddy will generate personalized questions from your material.
